Accenture
PPA drew up a stakeholder map and assessed the views of the key groups relevant to one of Accenture's public sector contracts.


Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI)
PPA was commissioned to research policy options for bar-coding of pharmaceuticals, to develop an action plan and then to take the lead on a 12-month project to implement that strategy.

Betfair
PPA worked with Betfair on a 3-month project on the pre-scrutiny stage of the Draft Gambling Bill. The work included assisting the client in their written evidence and preparing them for their appearance in front of the Joint Scrutiny Committee.


Capital on Site
Capital on Site Limited asked PPA to develop and initiate a strategy to engage and promote dialogue between all bodies and individuals involved in the development of the Red House Road site in Sutton.


Cemex
PPA was asked to devise and implement a political engagement programme to develop awareness across a range of stakeholders about the company's ability to use treated waste as an alternative fuel for their cement plans.


Compass Group
PPA has worked with Compass Group for four years on a wide range of "blue sky thinking" projects including on nutrition and obesity.


EDS
PPA worked with EDS on a six-month project to support a one billion pound procurement bid.


EU-Russia Centre
PPA is working on a pan-European campaign regarding issues of human rights, the rule of law and judicial independence in the Russian Federation.


Family Brewers
PPA has been working with a group of family and independent brewers on a campaign designed to initiate a Government review of Progressive Beer Duty.


First Step Trust (FST)
PPA worked with FST over two years to create a Social Enterprise which will de-assemble and recycle abandoned vehicles to provide training and work opportunities for people with mental health problems and other disabilities or disadvantages. The project was granted £1.5m in the 2005 Budget.


G15
Precise is working with a consortium of London's 15 largest housing associations to raise the profile of its members with London's 74 MPs, the Greater London Authority and individual local councils. Together the 15 associations provide social housing for one in ten Londoners. PPA is working to ensure that there is a greater understanding and differentiation of the sector amongst politicians.


Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service
The Fire Service has been working with PPA to develop and implement a strategic communications programme focusing on the changing role of the Service. This has led to local MPs and Councillors having a far better understanding of their local Fire Service.


Greater Manchester Strategic Health Authority
As the health service across Manchester undergoes investment and change, PPA is assisting the Authority and its PCTs to communicate and consult with the area’s politicians.

Greater Manchester Waste Disposal Authority
The Authority has commissioned PPA to write a strategic public affairs plan in support of the largest PFI contract in this sector.


Greenstar
PPA is providing public affairs support to Greenstar, one of the UK's leading recycling led waste management companies. PPA is assisting Greenstar in becoming a thought leader in the public policy debates around waste management.


Hilton Hotels Corporation
PPA is providing the Hilton Hotels Corporation with a public affairs programme aimed at promoting engagement with the Government, profile-raising and reputation management.


Iron Mountain
PPA is working with the data management company to raise its profile as a thought leader in the field of data protection. PPA is delivering a political engagement programme that will enable Iron Mountain to engage with the key stakeholders in the debate.


JC Decaux
PPA provided political support services to JC Decaux to assist them in bringing to London a bicycle hire scheme similar to their successful scheme in Paris.


Mersey Fire and Rescue Service
PPA worked closely with Mersey Fire on their written evidence and subsequent appearance before the ODPM Select Committee on the Fire Service.

Medirest
PPA has worked with Medirest for three years on a range of health-related public policy issues, including PFI, hospital cleanliness and food in hospitals.


Meeting Without Moving Foundation
PPA delivered a public affairs programme to the Meeting Without Moving Foundation aimed at raising the Foundation's profile, influencing Government policy and persuading the Government to use video conferencing within its own infrastructure.


Metropolitan Fire and Rescue Services
PPA is providing support to the Metropolitan Fire and Rescue Services in their campaign on the Government's formula grant distribution consultation paper.


National Consumer Council
The NCC recently asked PPA to undertake two projects: a Public Service Engagement Programme and a Report outlining Labour's Leadership Transition this summer. PPA also worked for NCC in 2005, producing a paper looking at potential consumer champions emerging from the General Election.


Pfizer (Europe)
PPA has been working with Pfizer for two years on a range of issues relating to patient safety. Building alliances outside the pharmaceutical industry is a vital part of this project.


PMI Health Group
PPA delivers a strategic public affairs communications programme to PMI Health Group, designed to help raise the company's profile.


Renewable Energy Foundation (REF)
PPA worked with the Renewable Energy Foundation on the campaign for a balanced, effective and ecologically sound energy policy that safeguards the landscape.


Renewable Fuel Supply Limited
PPA was asked to develop a campaign to overturn a decision by the DTI to reduce the Renewables Obligation Certificates availablefor the co-firing of coal-fired power stations with biomass.


RDA Secretariat
The RDA Secretariat commissioned PPA to research and write an in-depth report on 'New Localism and Regionalisation', forecasting their future direction by assessing current policy trends and interviewing many of the key players in this debate.

Scottish & Newcastle
PPA has worked with S&N for four years on a wide range of issues including public policy, M&A activity and the announcements on the closures of the Edinburgh and Newcastle Breweries.


South East London NHS Trusts
As the health service across South East London undergoes change, PPA is providing political support to the Trusts in the forthcoming public consultation 'A Picture of Health for South East London.'


Steljes Ltd
PPA has been asked by Steljes, the technology market and development services organisation, to assist them in their existing engagement programme. PPA will help the company raise its profile in Government and increase its influence on key stakeholders.


Vertex
Vertex commissioned PPA to prepare a document on best practice in outsourcing and e-transformation which was incorporated into a Government report on improving public service delivery.

Zurich Municipal
PPA undertook a project looking at the future of insurance across the education sector.
